Make sure your CV doesn't become a cliché

There's plenty of advice on this blog about how to write a good CV - but what makes a bad one? Here are a few examples of what to avoid when writing your CV if you really want to make that all-important fantastic first impression.

Keep your CV focused on concrete examples of your skills and achievements, rather than empty, overused phrases. It helps the reader to understand exactly how you'll fit into the role, the team and the company, without wasting their time with meaningless fluff.

If you're worried that your CV is riddled with cheese and falling a bit flat, why not ask for a professional re-write? CV Shed would love to take your job search to the next level!
